We bought a new backpacking stove for the Boys Scout troop. Hunter had to test it out before this weekend's hiking trip. He even found an old Army sock to store the fuel canister in because our Scoutmaster always carries his in a sock. The Scoutmaster did it because he was an Army Ranger and he wanted his equipment to be quiet in a tactical situation. The Boy Scouts do it because they think it's funny that he still does that 10 years after retiring from the Army.
