I had to go to the airport nearly 2 hours earlier than I was supposed to because my husband had to go to a retirement ceremony for his friend. At 1 pm, I found out my flight was cancelled from Raleigh to Montreal. It took the ladies 2 hours to find me a flight. Finally they found one to get me to Brussels for my flight to Marseille. I had just 15 minutes to run from one side of Newark airport to the other. But I made my flight as they we’re boarding. Flight from Brussels to Marseille was very rough, but I got their with mu checked luggage.
Happy to read you made it and your luggage as well. Especially the arrival of your luggage with changed flight plans is sometimes a bit tricky. Having a delay receiving your checked luggage at the start of a trip is a bummer. Fortunately we have never lost luggage.
I can't tell you how many times I had to get from one side of Newark to the other and just made it! LOL But the worst time I had to do that was in O'Hare- and only to find out the flight was cancelled. Good exercise and glad to hear you arrived safely!
@olivetreeann My flight coming back was rescheduled through Newark, as well. I think I ran across that airport at least 3 times. Didn't make my original flight because I couldn't get my luggage and through customs and security in time to make it. It was too far away.
