Today, I picked up my first Farm to Table delivery of the year. I had to pick it up from a local craft brewery because the county office where I usually picked it up is closed because of COVID-19. I got big container of really good strawberries, shitake mushrooms, giant spring onions, 4 sweet potatoes, asparagus, spring lettuce and a loaf of 5-grain bread.
Sounds so good! I'm wondering what our farmer's market will do. They were supposed to open May 2 but who knows what will be going on then. This delicious shot makes me think I should contact a few of the farmers I know personally and see if I could pick up orders directly from them. Happy cooking!
@olivetreeann Our Farmer's Market opened on Saturday. Since it's food related, it was allowed, but people were advised to wear masks and keep the 6 foot separation.
