Southern cityscape

There's a church on every corner, sometimes two. Just outside my subdivision, there are three churches.
Nice photo. I love church buildings but they are few and far between around here.

When my DH and I went to Canada in rural areas one of the things we noticed is you knew when you were coming to a new town because the first thing you saw was a church. Good shot.

This photo could have been from my town. New England is full of church steeples like these.
We are get-pushed partners, again. My challenge for you for next week is to make an interesting photo of an every-day object. Here are some tips from DPS. https://digital-photography-school.com/weekly-photography-challenge-everyday-objects/

Lisa, do you have a get-pushed challenge for me?

@joansmor One of the things we noticed about New England was their lack of churches. There were a few buildings, but no services. We've spent a lot of our life in the Bible Belt, so that was shocking to us.

@tdaug80 Posted you one. Sorry it's late.

@homeschoolmom Really? There are 6 churches within a few hundred yards of each other in the center of my New England town.

@tdaug80 I'm very glad to hear that. We lived in Salem, NH, just on the border with MA. We ended up driving 45 minutes into Nashua to a church started by our old church in Indiana.

@homeschoolmom I used to live in Methuen, MA. I know Salem.

@tdaug80 I know Methuen well. It wrapped around Salem on two sides. In fact, one of the friends we made there was married to a Methuen city police officer.

@homeschoolmom I lived near the pet cemetery and the library.
