Early this morning, my daughter headed back to college for a summer program that will teach her the business side of the coffee shop where she works. My youngest son went with her because it's a 2-day drive of about 800 miles. He'll fly home Friday afternoon.
When I would leave for college I'd get out some of my old things and put them on my shelves so my room wouldn't look so empty. My mother would laugh and say it looked like I'd never left. That's great that your daughter's school is open. My son's college (he's the soccer coach) and the community college where our photo club meets are both shut down for the remainder of the semester. I'm glad to hear the airlines are open too- at least for you. I don't know about the ones around here.
@olivetreeann As far as I know, the airlines never shut down. He's flying American Airlines, but we've been getting notifications from Southwest Air telling about how they are keeping travelers safe. Her school opened last weekend. But, every time she comes and goes, she cleans out more of her room.
I love this room and the feel of space, mine are pretty cluttered, but I remember wanting space before my youngest left for college, then sobbing when I came in and saw the very emptiness I’d been craving
