I've been hunting all over town for a pink crepe myrtle, wishing I had one in my yard. I came home from my walk and noticed the orange gladiola in my yard....and this pink crepe myrtle behind it! LOL! Where did that come from? I don't remember seeing this last summer. We've moved into this house June 13 of last year, so it should have bloomed while we lived here! It is, however, going to have to be trimmed, because the flowers are blocking the security light sensor on the side of the house. I can't understand why they hid this gorgeous tree back behind the trash cans.
