Bright sunny spring day had the solar panels working overtime today. They recently put in solar panels near our house, but these are at a local co-op office. This is becoming quite popular near us. But, there is one group, lead by a school teacher, who opposes them, saying they are sucking all the energy out of the sun and causing plants and animals around them to die. If you get really close, they will electrocute you, but they won't suck the life out of you. Some people, even science teachers, don't know how science works.
It's a shame that they can't be incorporated into structure better. Perhaps on the roof of a factory or hospital or something. The solar "farms" are not very pretty to look at.
