Editing some snapshots by homeschoolmom

Editing some snapshots

My Get Pushed challenge this week was to take a photo from last weekend and edit it like crazy. My brother-in-law took this photo with his cellphone. I loved the pic, but didn't like the background. The background was gray and the ceiling line was intersecting her head. I did a little editing magic on it (OK, a lot, actually) and this is what I came up with.
You did a wonderful job, Lisa.

@mcsiegle Here's one of my attempts at your challenge. I want to do one with one of my photos, too. I just haven't decided which one.

Oh, my. You've done an amazing job on your brother-in-law's cell phone shot. Mission well accomplished.

Have you given me a challenge that I have missed? I don't see one.

@gardenfolk In Photoshop, there's a guided photomerge where you can take something out of one photo and put it in the other. I wanted to do that with this one, but her veil made it hard. I just "painted" the background and put a vignette around it.

@homeschoolmom Frizzy hair, vales, and things like that get hard with photoshop. Youtube has lots a videos on PS tools. Lightroom has great tools as well.

I think you did a fantastic job! Unless you had said so, I would never have guessed the amount of editing you did. It looks natural and lovely!
