One of my husband's friends retired from the Army at Ft. Sheridan, IL, just north of Chicago. So here's a few views of Chicago, as we passed through, dirty windshield and all. Driving a giant truck through the narrow streets of downtown was very interesting. Several time, the passage was so narrow, that we had to stop and fold in our side mirrors. But, it was worth it to eat at the Red Apple Buffet, an authentic Polish buffet. The food was fabulous.
