Dave and I had a fabulous dinner at Gamekeeper's Restaurant in Blowing Rock, NC. I had escargot with wisteria and redbud flowers; trout stuffed with olives, tomatoes and capers; and a fiddlehead fern and an arugula salad. My hubby had vichyssoise; a salad with blue cheese, dried cranberries, sugared pecans, and pickled onions; grilled elk with blue mac and cheese and grilled vegetables; and bourbon bread pudding (which I forgot to take a photo of). It was an expensive dinner, but so good.
