This sphynx moth spent much of the day on our front door. My son thought it was dead since it didn't move for hours. It didn't move until I nudged it. This moth was big bodied with little wings and HUGE legs. It is related to the hummingbird moth, which I have photographed a flower garden about a mile from my house.
