Last autumn, this bridge was under water twice, thanks to Hurricane Florence, followed a month later by Hurricane Michael. Flo leftthis bridge deck 5 feet under water. One of the main bridge supports was broken and some of the bridge deck washed away. They are making plans to repave it, but until that takes place, the park association covered the holes with plywood. Next month is their big fundraiser and the biggest event at the park - the Big Foot Festival.
