For year, my husband has asked me to turn his old t-shirts into a quilt or two or three. He got them out of the shed Thursday and I started washing them. I had a big basket full of t-shirts, and now I've trimmed them down to just the print of the shirt. The pile is only a few inches thick. But, I have a laundry basket full of t-shirt sleeves and backs to throw away.
