Better than an orange cone

I was taking pictures downtown today and found these tiny petunias growing in a hole in the sidewalk. The hole was about 5 or 6 inches in diameter. I think there was probably a sign there at one time. Someone planted these tiny petunias in the hole. They are bright enough to keep someone from twisting an ankle.

How odd that someone would put a pot of flowers in a hole. You're right. It is better than an orange cone or sign saying "watch you step." I'm also amazed it's stayed in good condition.
