@twr@swilde@kwind Thanks. I can't figure out why they looked purple. They were white in a blue aquarium. I think they were reflecting back my pink camera strap. The pictures on my daughter's iPhone didn't have the purple, but all of mine did!
@lynnz@susale@ceilidh Thanks! @joansmor It was a pretty nice aquarium, but small. Our favorite aquarium is in Newport, KY, just across the river from Cincinnati, OH, It has tons of sharks. We love zoos and aquariums, though, so we go to them whenever we can.
@homeschoolmom we love zoos too. On Saturday we're off to the zoo here in Fuerteventura and hopefully I'll pluck up the courage to take a camel ride. The best zoo we've ever been in was in San Diego and the best wild life experience was watching rafts of penguins come ashore in NZ. It was amazing how they found their chick s immediately through the cacophony of calls. Whale watching is my next big must.
@ceilidh We are wanting to go whale watching as well. We will do that this spring before we leave New England. The aquarium in Boston has whale watching boats, but I hear that Cape Cod is the best place to go.
