Since it's the Memorial Day weekend, I decided to help this mud dauber wasp start the patriotic holiday a little early. Although wasps are a sign of summer and most people equate Memorial Day with the official start of summer, it really is a day to honor those brave men and women who have given their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy here in America. Men like, Corporal Clarence Cash (Operation Desert Storm, 1st Gulf War), Colonel William Densburger (helicopter crash in Germany in 1993), Staff Sergeant Kyle Eggers (Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dec. 2004), Major John Crone (who lost his battle with hidden wounds in 2013, after his 3rd deployment), just to name a few.
