Recently, we've been seeing these white birds flying around a house that we pass almost daily. Today I stopped in a parking lot across the street to try to get a picture of them. I can't tell if they are white doves, which rarely exist in nature, or white pigeons, which are a type of homing pigeon. I'm leaning toward white pigeons. A lot of people release them for weddings and fancy ceremonies, then they make their way home. If they release white doves, they tend to not be able to survive in the wild and die quickly. There are at least 6 if them, maybe more. We don't normally see pigeons in our town, so this is a fun find.
