This is Brinn, my friend Amanda's service dog. She is trained to help Amanda up when she falls. And if Brinn can't get Amanda back up from a fall, she is trained to hit an emergency phone button that will call an ambulance, Amanda's husband and a neighbor. She goes everywhere with Amanda, even to the hospital when Amanda gets her infusions. When Amanda was outside the van talking to me, Brinn kept a close watch on her. She rarely gets more than a few feet from Amanda.
