I can still wear these earrings my grandmother gave me when I was in the Second Grade! LOL!
Great discovery today! Now that my hair is shorter, I can wear earrings again! So today, I chose to wear my first real pair of earrings.
I got my ears pierced near the end of Second Grade. When we took out the starter studs, the kid earrings we got didn't fit. So my grandmother (just months before she married my grandfather and became my grandmother), took these gold hoops out of her own ears, cleaned them and put them in my ears. They've always been my favorite pair of earrings.
