I was taking some pics of my newly opened roses and found this little guy on a leaf below one of the blooms. I think it's a tent caterpillar. I hope he/she doesn't build a tent in my rose bush.
A great shot of this caterpillar. Very nice details. They're out. My MIL would only step outside from this time of year until probably the end of May if she had to because she was terrified of these caterpillars.
