One thing I loved about our year in New England was the clam chowder. However, this clam chowder from a coastal restaurant in Wilmington, NC, is the best I've ever eaten. My friend brought it back to me (she only bought it because the restaurant's bathroom was only open to customers). It has huge chunks of clams and a lot of them. So good.
