Same mocking bird as my other pictures. It ate the worm and flew up into the tree in the front yard. It just happened to land in a clear spot where I could still see it through the tree branches and get a picture from the front door. I don't think it likes having its picture taken by me, but it should be used to it by now. It lives in the bush beside our side fence and I take pictures of it on the fence all the time. I suspect it's a female mockingbird, since it has a nest in our bush, but I'm not sure. Everything I've read about mockingbirds says a male has bigger white stripes than the female, so I'd need to see two together to know for sure.
OK, looking at pictures of male mockingbirds, I now think this is a male! LOL! It's one or the other!
