Had a strange storm last night. Just a little lightning and rain, but lots of wind. Our power was out for an hour because there was a downed power line just a few miles from our house across a major road. My son was looking out our living room window to watch the storm when he noticed our neighbor's house was glowing orange. My hubby and older son went over to check it out, thinking their house was on fire, but it was just tiki torches in the back yard. They were in the hot tub when the storm blew in and didn't put them out. As they were talking to our neighbors, the tree in the other neighbor's yard snapped. A big branch broke off of it. As we were heading out today, we noticed that our street sign was down. It broke off the top of the stop sign. Thank goodness the stop sign didn't break. It was a short storm, but it sure did some damage. Weird storm, all wind.
