The Magnolia trees are changing color

The magnolia fruits and ripening, turning pink to brown, then they will drop their bright red seeds, which are about the size of a kidney bean, except very shiny and bright red. Here you can see a few of them sticking out. These trees are evergreen and keep their big, waxy leaves all winter. They shed some of their leaves in the summer when they are in bloom with giant magnolia blossoms.
So clear! I'm enjoying your assignments.

They have peculiar seed heads, don't they. This is well captured with the lovely leaves surrounding it.
