My MIL had these necklaces made from old gold coins. The one on the left is an 1886 $10 gold coin and the necklace was made for her mother. The one on the right she made for herself and is a 1776 $20 gold coin. I believe they inherited them from an aunt. The left necklace was accidentally included in the jewelry my MIL gave to me, so I’ll hold onto that one until I see my SIL again (don’t trust the mail with that).
