Willow Buds: A vs. B

I vowed to go outside today, and I did despite the slush. This is a flash exercise...trying to bring the white willow bud out against the snowy back drop. Which one is better?

I'd vote B. In the vast majority of pix of this type, it works best to have the subject brighter than the background.
