Sunne, Värmland, Sweden

So, Saturday we travelled north to say our goodbyes to Mr. Boos father. A very nice, Christmas themed funeral. I hate funerals and I cried my eyes out, but it was lovely.
Sunday we were in the church again to here his name read out and to light a candle.
A weekend full of tears and sadness but also laughter and joy.
Home again no. An odd year this one.

Thought of the day:
Those that are no longer with us in person will remain with us in our hearts forever.
So sorry to hear of Mr Boos dads many going through the same sadness but doesn’t make your own any easier. You will all have a very subdued Christmas. Keep safe & have those memories of happy times past & happy times still to come.

What a sad time for you all, but so glad you were able to laugh together too and remember

My condolences. Funerals are such emotional rollercoasters.
Laughed my head off at some of the stories at my Dad's - and then cried all the way home... Hope you're all doing OK.
