2020 - Jan 5 - Beer Yoga

Waiting for class to begin: For the record, the title of this post is what some of the participants call our yoga class. That’s not its official title. The real name is “Morning Flows.” During cold weather, it takes place in a neighborhood craft brewery. Once spring arrives and the weather warms up, we meet in a nearby park. I have to say though, it’s kind of strange to walk into a yoga class that smells like beer at 11:00 in the morning! Yet, by the end of class my mind has decided I am just smelling incense!

Yum! Beer yoga is pretty awesome. So is wine yoga.

@sassyinthecity ...the libations come after the class! It’s safer that way! Haha! Our class is at 11 am and brewery doesn’t open till noon, but some do go for a drink afterwards.
@allie912 we have so many craft breweries in Richmond. I’m surprised they all stay in business.

There are several breweries and wineries down here that do these type of yoga events. They are always a good time.
