"Puto Bumbong"

December 16 is the start of the Best Filipino Christmas Tradition, Simbang Gabi (Midnight Mass),and after the mass, people will go and buy the famous Christmas delicacy, Puto Bumbong.
Puto bumbong is made of glutinous rice that has a purple/violet hue.It is poured into bumbong (bamboo tubes),then steamed until cooked. It is topped with coconut shreds and muscavado sugar(cane sugar)
