Lancaster Skyline

210 - A change of location for a few days. I'm staying on the outskirts of Lancaster, so I spent the afternoon (between showers!) renewing my acquaintance with this attractive town.

Here we have the view over the rooftops from Lancaster Priory towards Williamson Park and the Ashton Memorial.

The memorial is well worth visiting. From the gallery are views of the Lake District, Morecambe Bay and Blackpool Tower, but only on a clear day!

Nice skyline you've capture Ian, with the victorian terraces and all the rest in it. One of the places I never managed to visit whilst we lived up there. Will have to play the tourist next time we come!
