White Berries by if1

White Berries

238 - For much of the last week I've been sharing shots of autumn colours in the leaves and trees close to where I live, but autumn is also the season of berries.

On several of my recent local walks I've noticed a lot of these white berries around. I have to confess that I don't know what they are, so if anyone knows, I would be interested to hear from you.

Some of these berries have developed a shine after a recent shower of rain. Some have also begun to change from white to a pale purple colour.

Nice shot. I haven't seen any berries of this color. Most have been red.

They're so pretty, especially with the purple tint. Wouldn't they make great eyeballs for something.
