238 - For much of the last week I've been sharing shots of autumn colours in the leaves and trees close to where I live, but autumn is also the season of berries.
On several of my recent local walks I've noticed a lot of these white berries around. I have to confess that I don't know what they are, so if anyone knows, I would be interested to hear from you.
Some of these berries have developed a shine after a recent shower of rain. Some have also begun to change from white to a pale purple colour.
Thank you Bob - most berries here are red too, but there are quite a few of these white ones too this year.
Thank you Lizzy - there are quite a lot of these around the lake this year.
Thank you Debra - glad you are enjoying the autumn shots!
Thank you Christine - one of the frustrations of photography is finding something interesting to shoot and not knowing what it is!
Thank you Ann, glad you like it!
Thank you Ladyjane - you're right, they make great eyeballs!
Thank you Caren - the mystery remains! I'll have to do some internet trawling!
Thank you Brian.
Thank you Bobbyj
Thank you Roslyn - I think an internet search is called for!
Thank you Marie - they are an interesting range of colours.
Thank you Livia, there were quite a lot of bunches of these around.
Thank you Pyrrhula - I'll have a look at those online when I do my internet search on them.
Thank you Bill - they certainly look a bit like eyes!
Thank you Kd - since I'm not sure what they are, I wouldn't want to risk eating them!
Thank you Kristin, I think they are rather attractive berries!
