254 - A grey dull day, far from ideal for photos, but I went for a walk through the Homestead Park. It's amazing how long the autumn leaves are lingering on the trees, probably because we haven't had the strong winds that often strip the leaves from the trees at this time of the year.
Here, in a quiet corner, there are quite a variety of trees and colours.
Thank you Pyrrhula - these gardens have a large variety of trees, with native species and others imported, which is why there is such a variety of colour
Thank you Tara - I took a number of shots here, including a closer one of the yellow tree, but I thought it looked better contrasted with the other trees.
Thank you Ruth, glad you like it!
Thank you Bob - I quite like the soft subdued colours, but I also like to see the sun bring up the colours too!
Thank you Debra, glad you like it. I think this time of year is lovely for taking photos!
Thank you Caren, glad you like it!
Thank you Ladyjane - the autumn colours are really lasting this year!

Thank you Ann - I quite like the effect of grey days on colour, but I do prefer to see the autumn colours highlighted by sunshine!
Thank you Alison - it is a lovely tree, but the shot I took of it on it's own was quite disappointing.
Thank you Carol - our autumn leaves are lasting a long time this year. Normally we have strong winds and they soon disappear!
Thank you Sandy, glad you like it!
Thank you Bob - there's quite a mixture of trees here including some evergreens, so there will be some green all winter, which is rather nice.
Thank you Brian - it is a lovely park, but strangely enough it's not very often I walk in this part of the park.
Thank you Marie, it is a lovely park to walk through.
Thank you Livia - autumn leaves and the grey days of November!
