Calliphora dubia feeding on liver

Not the prettiest photo - but this female blowfly is feeding on liver, which causes her to mate and produce eggs. This species is unusual as the eggs hatch within her abdomen - and she lays them as maggots. Most blowflies lay eggs, that then hatch to maggots. The mouthparts are so involved.
