Great Tit

This is just crazy. Today we have had 20 cm of snow in a couple of hours and more is coming. I work hard on feeding the birds, some of them ment to be here for the spring weather. This is a Great Tit, one of the birds you will normally see during winter so I guess he is more or less ok. We had to close our exhibition today due to the weather, no one will visit anyway.
How lovely!

Very nice composition. He’s all puffed up to insulate him against the cold.

A fav straightaway Inga but I'm sorry you're having such cold and snowy weather again. I hope this fabulous image compensates a little.

It is heartbreaking that we can't possibly reach all birds that need help and food.

@fbailey @moonmtn @bintal @flowerfairyann @octogenarian @suzanne234 @taffy @sunshinepix Thank you all for your support. We will have more snow today and the weather forecast says +16 C on saturday. More and more birds are gathering and it's lovely to see new spieces turning up, we just buy some more food for them.

Love this shot - but does look like January rather than April. The colors are wonderful and your focus and dof are terrific.

@milaniet Thank you, it was a surpricing snowfall but unlike most times here, the snow fell down in big flakes, not blowing sideways. I think the falling snow is what made the colours and dof pop.
