According to my internet research this is tyrant flycatchers (Tyrannidae). And my "soft" entry for the flash of red challenge. I took it in color, but actually like the B&W better!
More than 4 years ago I started subbing for the weekday school at a church and every time I pass the entrance of a nature sanctuary I think I should have a look. My husband has every other Friday off and we like to do something together, but didn't have a lot of time, so we finally went to this nature sanctuary. It was a lot bigger than expected and at a little "square" they had some bird feeders. This little one is ready to go when a spot on the feeder of his choice comes available....
What a lovely capture Ingrid, fave, but I had to google this bird to see how it looks in colour. Seems to be quite a dowdy coloured bird, green and browns if I found the right one.
