Super Blue Blood Moon! by ingrid01

Super Blue Blood Moon!

I got up 30 minutes earlier than normal at 5.30am and checked on the moon. Perfect! Visible from my garden. Whilst getting ready for the day I got a picture every 8 minutes, but soon, the moon was getting to low for my garden and even walking in the street. My 14yr old needs to be at school by 6.45 for soccer, so I asked my driving 16yr old to bring him. She was kind enough to do that. In the meantime my 11yr old and I hopped on our bicycles of to the bayou/park where there is a hill. Unfortunately, because of the hurry I forgot my tripod... and there was no time to retrieve it. So the last pictures were taken with a very high ISO. But at least I got the idea!
This is wonderful! You captured every phase! Huge fav!

Good work, a lot of effort.

Excellent. No moon shots here. We finally had rain after weeks of clear skies and the cloud was so thick, no moon was visible.
