Purple carrot

A neighbor brought some purple carrots for my son's rabbit. We had never seen or tasted one, so we tried a little ourselves first. Not bad, but I think we prefer the normal orange ones. Lucky bunny!

I've never seen purple carrots either. At first glance I thought it was a beet.
