I got a lovely basket with flowers from my friends, but after a week the basket looked sad. However, many flowers were still ok, so I put them in 2 vases. Now after 2 weeks they were really done...
I do the same thing with bouquets. I just keep reducing the size of the base to fit the flowers till they finally die. They do last a long time that way.
