Bridge in progress

The first project in my 7th grader woodshop class was designing and making a bridge from balsa-wood. The start of the project (design) was graded month ago, but then the started to use the tools and the bridge traveled back and forth between school and home. When I saw it untouched on the Sunday after the Thanksgiving break, ready to go back to school, I decided to step in and help. Started to assemble it. The hair clips came in really handy. Last Thursday night we finished and it went back to school to be tested. They will put it over 2 chairs and hang weights below until it breaks. The kid with the strongest bridge will get a certificate. If you do not want to break your bridge that is fine too. Yelena wants to test her bridge.
