Sunday was a public holiday due to the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed's Birthday (our work/school week runs from Sunday to Thursday). So to do something we decided to take a day pass at a resort about 30 minutes drive from our house.
It never rains in Oman, except when we plan to swim (this was the 2nd time since I arrived that it rained and that we did a bigger trip...), but the good side is we didn't burn! The waves were a lot of fun, and even my husband (in the picture here) enjoyed it! I just wonder if the waves wilder due to the weather of if they are always like this.
We will find out, because we are definitely going back. Lunch was included and was awesome too!
