This was one of the recipes going around in the Whats App group from the school-moms. I made the stew a few weeks ago and my family liked it a lot.
Exactly a year ago I put together a little cookbook for my oldest and with all new recipes (and ingredients - there is quite a difference what you get in Texas vs Oman), I decided it was time to make another one...
She will love her cookbook. My sister and I both lament that we don’t have mother’s recipes. She just cooked and never wrote anything down. We should have taken the time to sit with her and write at least our favorites down.
