Yelena turned 14 today and her older sister Nadya is now 19! This was the first year they did not celebrate it together. That was quite hard for Yelena, but she had a great day!
Going counterclockwise from top right: First she decorated her own cakes (I made 2 small cheese cakes). As we can buy only food here now, she told me she wanted to drive. I drove to a parking lot and she had a go. Next was a big surprise - 2 friends stopped by! Parents waited in their cars, but these 10 minutes made her day.
Obviously we face-timed with Nadya. Then, when lighting her candles, her brother Demyan had fiddled with the lighter... He also made her a "card" which he showed on the TV.
