This morning the sea was very calm. Yelena liked it for her swim. The fishermen must have liked it too and the seagulls loved that! There were 3 boats close to the shore. And I took several pictures, but liked this one because of Al Fahal (the rock or small island) is in the background.
@louannwarren It is not foggy, but the visibility is almost often poor. It was also my problem with the sunrise pictures the other day. I don't know what it is, maybe it is the humidity. To give you an idea of distance Al Fahal is about 5.5 miles away.
i used to see this all the time but with the beautiful dhow boats which could be colourful sometimes and the fishermen waving at me as i jogged (well, i don't know if they were waving at me or at someone else, but they are so far away to see exactly but i would wave back). however, i don't ever remember the rock being obscured by haze or fog. must be i never noticed or global warming as i never thought it was humid there even by the sea. this is a beautiful shot and maybe you should have tinted it with pinkish orange, the colour of dawn. aces!
