A Wadi

Oman is beautiful and now the weather is nice (still around the 29C/84F) many people enjoy the outdoors.
Unfortunately beaches are still closed, but I heard people saying that the Wadis are open.

A wadi is a valley or dry riverbed. Some of the more popular/touristy ones are big and have water and you can swim. Usually for access you need a 4x4.

At only 18 minutes drive from our home is an area where you can do a nice hike. To my surprise Yelena was happy to go with me this morning!
We started half way up a mountain, climbed over it before walking down into the wadi and then back up again. It took us about 2 hours and we had a lovely time!
