Last week I posted a photo from the Oman Arab Bank ( http://365project.org/ingrid01/365/2020-11-15 ) and this is a picture of my husband's office building. They are projecting the pictures of Sultan Qaboos (he passed away in January 2020) and the new Sultan who is called Sultan Haitham.

A beautiful international city, for sure. How long is your husband’s contract? Will you be in Oman a lot longer? I know you have heard from your daughter that Texas is going through the second phase of Covid, this second wave does not appear to be as deadly as the first one.
good instinct on including the road. it's a counterpoint to the lovely street lights which would've otherwise taken the attention from the building. sultan qaboos was a very lovely gentleman with a commanding stare and mysterious smile. i'm sure the citizenry misses him.
@louannwarren My husband does not have a fixed contract. So they might send us back to Houston this summer, but we are really hoping that it will be the summer of 2022. We really like it here and I love the school. It is an IB school and in 10th grade they do exams. When leaving in the summer of 2022 Yelena could take those exams.
Nadya told me that your in the second wave now... We got her a visa and a ticket and she should be flying on December 5th!!! But needs a PCR test before flying and especially at the moment that might be tricky... So I hope everything will go smoothly, but only believe that she is here when she is in our car at the airport!
