Free!

Upon arrival in Oman by plane you get a PCR test and a bracelet. On the 8th day after arrival you may take another PCR test and if the result is negative you can get your bracelet removed.

Today (16th) we got Nadya's bracelet removed. The process in the private clinic wasn't efficient... First we needed to talk to somebody to get a number. Then when our number was called somebody issued a note and we had to pay. The cashier issued receipt and with that we could see a doctor. The doctor wrote "REMOV" on the receipt and we were ready to join the line for the "remover". This person scanned her passport, the printout of the test and the receipt and had scissors. After the bracelet (which had actually fallen off the 2nd day) was removed, he printed a paper and with that paper we had to go back for a stamp and signature of the doctor.

Anyway, she is free now and in the afternoon we went to the beach. I liked this picture I took of the heron as I thought it suited the word free.
Wow, what a process and awesome capture.

Fantastic shot - that's a lot of bureaucracy!
