On Sunday I picked Yelena up from a friend and saw the moon. It was amazing. So I had an alarm set and went up on our roof (with the AC outlets). But... unfortunately there were some clouds.
This little guy stopped by, so he was my tiny subject. Unfortunately my app could not identify him.
@wakelys@monikozi@peadar@onewing Thank you for your comments! I looked up bee-eaters and kingfishers. The map of global distribution of both species tells me that is could be either one.
However, I this is probably is a bee-eater. It was the first time I saw this kind of bird. Hopefully I'll find another and can confirm.
