Limes... by ingrid01

Limes...

The lime tree in our little backyard has grown and given us so many limes this year that my freezer is full of lime cubes. I use 3 lime cubes to make a 2 liter jar of lemonade.

The limes in this photo will fall off soon, but I leave them as long as possible.

The neighbors, and now the ladies in the PTA are happy with them, but the tree is so big it needs trimming. It almost capsized and has now a pole holding it in place. But the gardener (who was very happy with a supply of limes too), wants to wait until it has no fruit any more..
Such a beautiful shot.

Oh how wonderful. So nice you can share too. I love lime juice over lemon juice!

Yellow limes?! My lemons start green, but they eventually turn yellow https://365project.org/blueberry1222/365/2021-08-06

@blueberry1222 Yes they are definitely limes! Google tells me that they could be "key limes".
