Our school in Oman together with international schools in the UAE, Qatar and India used to organize sport events in which the student traveled, stayed with host families and participated in sport events.
Obviously due to Covid that was not possible, but fortunately it is again possible to compete in some sports.
Swimming is one of those. All schools swim in their own facility, but at the same time and times are combined in order to get the winners.
Due to my experience with the running the swim team computers in Houston, the coach is very happy to have me help out. All officials were given a red t-shirt and because it was just our swimmers in the pool it was relaxed and I had time for a selfie!
