You might remember the cityscape with the container ships and the mosque ( https://365project.org/ingrid01/365/2021-12-10 ). I practically pass it every day (without knowing until last week). So when I dropped her off for swimming yesterday afternoon, I went to see if I could get some photos.
The mosque was bigger than I expected, but the street in front of it was very narrow. And on top of that there is a wall around it. So a collage was the best option...
Because the street is so narrow they probably put the no-parking-signs, but in Oman you only worry about red traffic lights. Other traffic signs seems just to be suggestions. The red car is mine.
In the walls is something shiny. It lit up really nicely in the sun. You might be able to see it in the bottom left photo.
The name of the mosque is a name of an important lady in the Moslim history. Fatimah was the daughter of the prophet Muhammad. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatimah
